Posted December 21, 2011: Voted Best Dentist in Lake Orion 2009,2010 & 2011!
It is a great honor to be selected as Best Dentist. This was the third year in a row that we were recognized by the community, for this we are very grateful and appreciative.
Although the title is "Best Dentist", it should actually be "Best Dental Office". It truly takes a team of amazing individuals coming together, combining their talents and expertise to provide a wonderful, comforting experience for our patients.
We love hearing new patients say "no one has ever explained my dental needs in such detail or taken the time to show me the reasons for treatment, before now". We will always take the time for our patients. It is important to us that patients understand their treatment needs, enabling them to make better informed decisions. We know our patients recognize the value in the services we provide, using the latest technology and dental techniques; however, the gentle care and compassion we provide to each individual are the reasons they continue to refer their friends and family.

Posted August 24, 2010: Digital X-rays Offer Clear, Detailed Images
Dr. Blake is excited to provide the latest technology in digital radiography to his valued patients. Patients will appreciate that digital images appear on the computer monitor instantly, which is a time saver, allowing the appointment time to be used more effectively. The images can be enlarged, colorized, drawn on and zoomed in on to show all of the details of the teeth in question. Digital radiographs also require up to 75% less exposure of traditional x-ray film.
Digital radiography is also kinder to the environment. Without processing traditional film X-rays, the toxic chemicals and harsh cleaners for processing become relics of the past. Concern over disposing of these chemicals properly so they won't leach into the groundwater is no longer an issue.

Dr. Blake believes in providing only the best product to our valued patients, which is why our office exclusively uses local (Michigan) certified dental laboratories with certified dental technicians. All restorations are fabricated with the highest quality materials with skilled artistry. Our fine team of laboratories has been creating smiles and satisfied patients for years.
Posted November 2, 2008: We are a participating provider for Delta Dental's Preferred Option
Dr. Blake's office is a participating PREFERRED provider with Delta Dental. What does this mean to patients? Dr. Blake's patients benefit from lower co-pays on procedures. Their benefit dollars allowances also go further; since the fees Dr. Blake has agreed to accept from Delta Dental are a contracted rate (generally 30% lower than usual and customary fees). Dr. Blake believes that his patients deserve the best dental care and it needs to be affordable. His goal to to enable patients to have their necessary dental treatment completed for overall dental wellness.
